It will be hard to forget me

And eventually you will

But you will always know

I am the sunset on a cool summer night

I am the drawing you once started

And now I’m the painting you must finish

I am the pill that takes the edge off

I am the sweet aroma that fills your bedroom

I am your favorite star on a clear night

I am the soft wind that whispers in your ear

I am the joke that makes you laugh

I am the kiss that makes you smile

I am the love you once had.
